Day 11

Haddie's Day Out.

Brother spent the night with Nana & Papaw, so we took Hadley out for coffee and searched for books at Barnes & Noble. Then we went to lunch before picking him up. We didn’t know how to function with just one, and definitely missed Hunter-Bug!!

Day 10

Big Boys Wear Briefs.

One day, when you are grown Hunter and I am embarrassing you with this, I guess it won’t be as adorable to you as it is to me now! Right this moment however, I have never seen anything cuter. So ready to see where this big boy potty training adventure takes us!

Day 7

The Coldest Day.

Today was the coldest day of the season. Due to a polar vortex we are experiencing record temperatures around here. It has us holed up in the house and cabin fever is setting in. Today I took advantage of the below freezing temperatures and blew bubbles, to watch them freeze.

Day 4

Date Night.

Brock and I had a chance to go out on our second date since Haddie arrived. We left them at Nana & Papaw's. The love between those two and their grandkids is boundless. Hadley absolutely lights up when her Nana is talking to her!

Day 5

Like Papaw Does.

Hunter adores his Grandparents, and Papaw is no exception. He asks about him when he wakes up, freely gives him kisses, and wants to do everything he does. This Sunday dinner, a plumbing problem arose so it was Hunter & Papaw to the rescue! If Papaw would grunt, so would Hunter. We are so blessed with loving, patient grandparents for the kids!

Day 6

Big Boy.

We recently transitioned to a “big boy” bed and followed that with some “big boy” play things! I love peeking into his room and watching him playing independently. He is so outgoing/al over the place and type A personality (like his Momma) that I get excited watching him explore on his own, having a little quiet time.

Day 3

Wife after God.

Day three of the new year and of my new
devotional. I am really enjoying waking every morning and spending a little alone time with God. Just me, my thoughts, a journal and a good coffee.
